Not a laughing matter you can break the internet and still fix the roof with a shoelace.
Photo by Joel Muniz / Unsplash I have been known to fix things in the style of my father, I fixed the roof with shoe laces.

So, I struggle to link my domain name with my blog post. I keep putting it off and don't want to watch another how-to video. I think it's a man thing along the same lines as not asking for driving directions when I get lost. When I started my blog over a year ago. I watched a youtube video on how to do it, and the author confirmed he didn't know how to do it when he started. He said, "start and figure it out as you go." So far, I have figured out that about 80% of my site works. I have only broken the internet a few times along the way. No one has even noticed. Please don't question me; you can break the internet; see the link. I am glad I started. I write more, I read better, and sometimes I make my professional comic husband laugh.

This week I am learning how to make my domain name the only name of my blog post without much success, as I have said. You may have noticed the internet was broken several times last Friday. I fixed it eventually. Here is my riddle. Currently, www.ktdonohue.com  gets routed to www.kt-donohue.ghost.io. I want to clean that up, so it's seamlessly just my domain name.

It's a long video but effective.

MacGyver fix

In the meantime, I got a little win to feel better about my failed internet project. I did a total booger fix on our broken fiberglass roof. I used a piece of wood packing strip and a pair of lime green shoe laces to lash a flapping bit of fiberglass roof panel down so it would stop banging in the wind. I hope it holds until the rain stops and we can find a vendor willing to go up on the roof to fix it properly. Failing to finish one project should not discourage you from winning at something else.

Also, I tied the Chat AI software. Where was this when I had to write pagers every week in college? Check this out. Link to my AI writing sample

Encouragement

I had a boost from one of my cousins. She said she liked my blog post. So I want to thank everyone who has followed me so far. Encouragement is appreciated.
